Gimnàstic de Tarragona Museum
The Gimnàstic de Tarragona Museum and Store was opened on 26 April 2018, returning to a location that has been emblematic in the team’s history: Avinguda Catalunya, where Nàstic Football Club’s facilities were based for many years. The ground floor now houses the club’s store where you can buy the official football strip and other merchandise, while the Museum is on the first floor.
The objects in the permanent exhibition belong to the club, in addition to objects loaned by various individuals associated with the club, displayed in chronological order from the club’s origins through to the present day.
When you enter the Museum you are welcomed by the club’s official flag, dating from 1927. This is the starting point of the exhibition, which features different objects, documents and historic items of clothing. One of the museum’s walls is occupied by posters advertising matches on the Avinguda Catalunya and Nou Estadi pitches. Trophies, football shirts, photographs and other objects bear witness to the history of the oldest sports club in Spain.
