Masks are compulsory

It is compulsory to wear a mask at all times in all public spaces, regardless of whether social distancing is possible (in accordance with Health regulation: Decision SLT/1648/2020, of 8 July)

When?

As of 9 July. Always, at all times, even when observing social distancing.

Who?

  • Everyone aged 6 and over.
  • It is recommended for 3 to 5 year olds.

Where?

  • In any indoor or outdoor public space or place open to the public,
  • including natural areas such as forests, beaches and so on.

Exemptions:

  • Those suffering from a respiratory disease or difficulty breathing that could be exacerbated by wearing a mask
  • Those who do not have the autonomy to remove a mask
  • Those with behavioural disorders that make wearing a mask infeasible
  • Those practising sports outdoors
  • Delimited areas for the exclusive use of a single group in regular proximity (private households, classrooms, summer camps...)
